You don't have to open the app to check the temperature, it updates in the background for you and a quick glance at your home screen will tell you all you need to know. Simple, clever and does the job without fuss! Yes there are other apps that show more details, but this app is optimised to save battery life, therefore this app only does what is necessary to give you the temperature at your location with the minimum of processor power or battery power. This app also uses the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touches sophisticated built in background fetching technology to save battery life even further. This app will cleverly adapt to your usage, so if you usually first use your device in the morning at 8.30, after a few days of learning it will automatically update just before you normally use it, same for the next time during the day etc. Don't forget to keep this app in the background, so it can work its magic.
