For fast play in a Street Fighter-style environment, Little Fighter seems to have punched and kicked its way to the top. Fitting in with its retro feel, you play a small character with a big head--reminiscent of the Japanese "chibi" designs--and fight against the computer or a friend, one-on-one or in a melee.

The control keys are simple and customizable to your preferences, but it's not a hard game to learn. You can move up, down, left and right; you can attack, defend and jump. That's it. No more, no less, and yet some users claim that Little Fighter can suck them in for hours at time. You also can have up to four people playing off the same keyboard simultaneously--a charmingly quaint touch.

The English translation of the game leaves more than a little to be desired, so it will take some messing around to understand how it works. We found the Web site to be unhelpful, but reprogramming the keys to ones we were comfortable with made everything easier. The game is also slow to load at times, but we can see how Little Fighter can get addictive in a big way.

Great Game.Addictive.

Easy Game play.You can set your own buttons.Good graphics.I downloaded it in 2007.Played for hours.By downloading the editor you can add chars and change the power and effects of attacks.You can also change the look of attacks by accessing the file.

Not much to do,just kill others.No volume control.

WARNING DOES CONTAIN SPYWARE. But is easy to sort out. The pre-select buttons are pointless. You have to configure them yourself every time.

None; I couldn't even get it to work.

Too many preparation steps before you arrive somewhere. While you struggle and guess what to do to make this thing work, you are persecuted by loud horrible sophomoric music (to call it music) you can't turn off, apparently.
Summary
I tried three times to go through all the many setup screens, each one with unclear or non existing instructions. The screens never seem to end. The convoluted setup process suggests that organized, methodic thinking is not a requisite to be a computer programmer. When I finally arrive at the "Start Fight" condition, my warrior does not react to my commands. It just stays there, to be beaten by the computer character. Really nice. I'm obviously not qualified to deal with this contraption. I'll go back to U to study rocket science and neurosurgery and then I'll try again to set this peace of junk up. For the moment, I am uninstalling it. Enough is enough.
I had some fun with it, but got bored with it!

Ol' Skool fighting action, I was able to adapt it to my Controller. Some good combos, many different types of Video Game fighting styles.
Cons
Needs more work. Not enough levels - mainly good for PvP action. The levels need to be more interactive, with your Character. Need Bigger Character Sprites. Still should improve the graphics.

I thouht this game falls to short of exciting. The levels were not enough, they only served as back grounds, they needed to be more interactive. I am looking for the new ultimate Ol' Skool style fighting game. that can be enjoyed PvE and PvP. I do like how the Video Game fighting styles are diverse. I was playing it on my PC controller. The Graphics still need improvement, even though the pixel correction is good, the Character Sprites still need to be bigger.The Graphics also should be clearer with more detail. I hope this game has an improved follow up!
