Liar Game is a role-playing deduction game that pits players against one another in a structured format of bluffing, logic, and persuasive speech. At the beginning of each round, most players receive a secret keyword, while one randomly assigned player, the Liar, gets nothing. The goal is to maintain your cover or expose the imposter without revealing too much. 

Words matter, timing counts, and bluffing is essential. Liar Game relies on verbal interaction and player behavior. Designed for group sessions, it's all about calculated ambiguity. There's no board, no character stats, just speech, suspicion, and strategy in a focused setup.

Talk without saying too much

Liar Game rounds revolve around controlled communication. Regular players must discuss the secret keyword without directly revealing it, while staying vague enough to confuse the Liar. These statements shape the pace of the round, and players are forced to monitor each other closely, though it relies heavily on group participation and lacks visual or interactive features. Missteps can either unmask the Liar or wrongly implicate innocent players.

If you're the Liar, you’re left guessing based on clues shared by others. You listen, infer, and then join the conversation. The game provides no lifelines or hints, just spoken wordplay and reading people. The simplicity keeps focus tight, but it means replay depth relies entirely on social unpredictability, not gameplay systems. Sessions remain brief and repeatable, with group dynamics altering the difficulty.

After enough discussion, players vote on who they believe the Liar is. If they’re right, the round ends. If not, the Liar wins. This final vote locks in consequences, so early dialogue matters. There are no tie-breakers, alternate win conditions, or secondary objectives. The vote is the singular resolution tool. As a result, strategic silence, misleading remarks, or well-timed agreement can be significant.

Liar Game functions as a minimalist verbal deduction tool. It strips social gameplay down to speaking, inferring, and guessing, with no technical overlays or mechanical complexity. There are no in-game progressions, visuals, or statistical systems to learn — just a rotating round structure. This is not a game with many features or complex mechanics. It focuses on enabling players to talk, lie, and vote in a fast-paced loop.
