  Summary

  Just had a terrible experience with LexEatIn.com We paid an $8 delivery charge + $1.70 credit card fee and included an $8 tip for pad thai and ice cream. The estimated delivery time was 6:32. At 7:05 we did get the food but the ice cream was completely melted. I phoned LexEatIn.com to explain the problem and spoke to Maxine. I was told it was unrealistic to expect delivery by the time they quoted and it was just too bad about the ice cream. She didn't seem to see what the big deal was and we could just put the ice cream (cold stone creamery) in the freezer. Except that ice cream from cold stone creamery is mixed with fruit, cake, etc. and when its frozen together it doesn't taste right. So in summary, we paid almost $18 for delivery for food that was no good. We will never use this service again and strongly urge you to look elsewhere
