It works well with Word documents

Pros
It successfully created some Kindle books which looked fine on the Kindle.
Cons
It requires using another application which you have to download called Kindlegen. It isn't as easy as Stanza, a free Desktop (as well as iPhone or iPad app).
Summary
It is good to have more than one way to convert a document into an eBook, but of all the ways I have tried to do it, Stanza is the easiest and has the most options.
