Legal Document Analysis takes almost all of the leg work out of reviewing and combing legal documents for the information you need. While certainly a powerful review program, it isn't very friendly to non-experts.

Since this program comes as an executable file, it will probably make your antivirus suspicious. During testing, it set off Windows' built-in firewall, as well. It doesn't seem like the program needs to access any of the features that would make the firewall go on the defensive. It's just a basic Web applet that lets you upload a file and then set predetermined guidelines to review it. You can run a scan for certain metrics, words, and patterns inside of even very large legal documents. The bigger the document, the longer it takes to scan. That's okay, since the program is usually pretty quick to review a document. Legal Document Analysis' layout looks like it hasn't been updated since the mid-'90s. If you mess something up, the scanner will tell you a different way to try the task that should bring success. Even with that in mind, it's still tough to get a handle on this program, at first. Most of the instructions and guides you need are written either very vaguely or flat out don't exist. However, if you're the type that needs legal document analysis, this program's lack of instructions shouldn't deter you.
