Developer’s Description

stand-alone prescription writing software
LabelRx(TM) is a stand-alone prescription writing software solution that enables healthcare practitioners to print prescriptions on their own prescription pad paper or adhesive labels in mere seconds. It can perform weight-based dosing calculations and print med sample instructions as well. It also prints tests, labs and consultation requests, with their corresponding diagnoses (and ICD9 codes when applicable). The user interface is simple enough that a prescription can be generated by a nursing / medical assistant who then presents it to the physician for review and signature. Instead of handwriting 40+ prescriptions a day, or inputting data into a PDA, the practitioner can use that time more efficiently diagnosing and treating additional patients.
