Kıyam: Ezan Vakti Kıble for Android

Shows the time remaining until the next prayer, a Qibla compass, and the full Holy Quran stored on-device for offline reading. Kıyam: Ezan Vakti Kıble, from Emre Özbek, targets Muslim users who want a compact, distraction-free prayer companion on Android. It calculates prayer times locally, includes kerahat warnings, Hijri and Gregorian calendars, customizable Adhan sounds, dark mode, and a countdown timer. Its high-contrast, minimalist screens suit older users and anyone wanting immediate access without menu clutter.

Prayer scheduling stays available without a network

Local calculation is central: the app computes prayer times on the device so the schedule and the countdown to the next prayer remain available in airplane mode or where reception is poor. The tool also integrates Hijri and Gregorian calendars and issues kerahat (disliked time) warnings. Those elements together mean the main screen gives immediate timing information without digging through menus.

Qibla guidance depends on your phone's sensors

The Qibla compass uses the device's internal sensors, so accurate direction finding requires a phone with a working compass and occasional calibration. The developer recommends staying away from magnetic fields to improve readings. That dependency makes Qibla reliable on sensor-equipped phones, and it also sets a clear setup step for users who need precise orientation during travel or in unfamiliar locations.

Interface emphasizes clarity for older or low-vision users

The interface favors high-contrast, minimalist screens and multiple theme options including dark mode, which simplifies navigation for elderly users. The APK is described as lightweight for varied devices, and menu structure avoids clutter so core actions appear on launch. The app also bundles the full Arabic Quran with Turkish translation, presenting readable text for on-device study without additional downloads.

Notifications and scheduling tools fit daily routines

Customizable Adhan and notification sounds let users set audible cues that match daily habits, and Verse of the Day alerts can appear with prayer notifications. Calendar integration places religious dates alongside daily times, and kerahat alerts warn about disliked intervals. Notification options are configurable on the device, so users who rely on punctual reminders can tailor sounds and alert behavior during quiet hours.

To sum up, a low-friction ritual companion that favors reliability and simplicity

To sum up, Kıyam suits users who prefer uncluttered, on-device access to prayer scheduling and reading; setup is straightforward but expect to grant notification permissions and to exempt the app from aggressive battery optimizations so alerts arrive on time. For people who value a compact daily ritual tool with clear screens, it fits into everyday routines with little ongoing maintenance.
