Editors’ Review
krutiTV - ТВ онлайн, from TOV SAIPL, makes Android devices into portable media centers by giving mobile access to live television. The app streams dozens of channels and organizes programming for on-the-go viewing with channel browsing and playback controls. It highlights on-device viewing and multi-screen use, offering tools aimed at viewers who follow Russian-language broadcasts and family-oriented programming on phones, tablets, or Smart TVs.
It delivers live television across a broad set of genres
The app provides direct access to a catalog of more than 300 channels, covering international news, sports, movies, entertainment, and children's programming. Viewers can expect high-definition streaming with adaptive quality that adjusts to available bandwidth, which helps reduce interruptions during live events. This combination makes the app practical for people who want varied broadcast options while commuting or settling in for an evening show.
It runs on standard Android devices and Android-based Smart TVs
krutiTV installs on Android smartphones and tablets, and it supports Android-based Smart TV setups, so a single app can move from hand-held viewing to a living-room screen. The developer positions the app for mobile-first use while retaining compatibility for larger displays. Setup is limited to Android ecosystems, so users on non-Android platforms cannot use the same client without a compatible device.
It supports multitasking and low-data listening scenarios
The design includes a built-in program guide to track schedules and a Favorites list for quick access to channels. For background listening and battery savings, the app offers a sound-only playback mode, and it supports Picture-in-Picture so viewers can keep a mini-player visible while switching to other apps. These options target listeners who want news or music without continuous screen-on time.
It aims for steady playback through adaptive streaming
Adaptive video quality is used to limit buffering by matching stream bitrate to connection speed, and reviewers note generally stable playback performance for live TV on mobile. The app's combination of adaptive streaming and a program guide makes it suitable for following scheduled broadcasts and live events, particularly for viewers focused on Russian-language and family-oriented channels.
Pros
- Access to over 300 television channels across multiple genres
- Picture-in-Picture mode lets you watch while using other apps
- Sound-only playback conserves battery and mobile data
- Integrated program guide (EPG) and Favorites speed up navigation
Cons
- Playback quality depends on the user's network performance
- Designed for Android ecosystems, not for non-Android platforms
- Regional and Russian-language focus may limit international variety
Bottom Line
To sum up, krutiTV suits mobile-first viewers who need reliable live TV
krutiTV is a practical option for Android users who want portable access to many television channels and scheduled programming; one consideration is that streaming quality depends on network conditions. For the most consistent experience, prefer a stable Wi-Fi connection when watching live events on mobile or a Smart TV; this reduces bitrate switching and keeps live broadcasts smoother during peak moments.
