KPI Scorecard is an innovative business-planning tool that allows users to track performance and set goals on a month-to-month basis. With plenty of features and options for customization, KPI Scorecard is a great way to break the big picture into smaller, more manageable pieces.

The program's interface is fairly intuitive, and although there is a detailed PDF Help file included with the program, we were able to get started without consulting it. The program's template includes three metrics--Revenue, Profit, and New Customers--that users may wish to track; these can be edited and added to in order to reflect important business goals. For each metric users enter the actual and target numbers, and the program calculates the percentage of the target that was met. There's plenty of space to record comments, major successes and obstacles, and plans for the following month. Several graphs and charts allow users to view their data in meaningful ways, and the Resources section provides templates for business plans, diagnostics forms, and the like. Used consistently, KPI Scorecard can be a powerful way to reveal business strengths and weaknesses. We had one major complaint: the Help file mentions "interactive video advice," but we were unable to find it. Perhaps the full version of the software includes the videos, but there was no indication of this.

KPI Scorecard has a 30-day trial period. It installs desktop icons without asking and leaves a folder behind upon removal. We recommend this program to all users.

Mediocre software at best

Pros
Pretty good 1 page layout, fair graphing abilities, 1 page summary not too bad. Nice ability to select reports and graphs.
Cons
Severely lacking in the ability to customise, Poor editing ability, formatting cells barely possible. Probably fine entry level people.
Summary
this program is so restricted in its customisation abilities that it almost becomes useless for anything other than the very basic KPI's Anyone thinking this is a good program has low expectations of their business, or low levels of knowledge in KPI & Benchmarking data. I would NOT recommend this for anyone who's seriously wanting to monitor their performance. Exporting to Powerpoint resulted in error messages and a failed export. Don't waste your time on this one. Another Maus fail unfortunately.

Seriously , the evaluation of this product has absolutly nothing on the full working version there is nothing you can actually do with the evaluation , further more you can even save thus a waste of time . so much better with the full version, im not the one to waste time and a little impatient , thus the reason on the full version pirchase. prehaps the little more patient will prehaps find the evaluation substantial. - Very easy to read and communicate your benchmarks and kpi's - solid graphs - balanced scorecard theory - used effectivly (Depth)

- May need explaining to staff on how to use to start off with .
Summary
I am a marketing manager for a marketing business outside sydney and this product takes the stress and guessing in the goals and benchmarks that need to be met. It allows the sales team esspecially to keep on track and to make sure there is a know system where their preformace is kept. - Michael .j

Pros
It is extreemly easy to use, and is a quick and easy method of seeing if your staff are reaching goals on time. The traffic light system works really well. Graphing tools are easy to create and work as a good company overview.
Cons
The eval version did not let me export or save my KPI Reviews
Summary
I have been in consulting for over 10 years; helping small to medium size businesses. Over this time I have used many many different software programs, and I feel this is the most powerful. A must have for any small to medium size business! If this program is used properly and frequently it will keep staff motivated and on track! Well done MAUS
