Key Manager allows you to remap keys, mouse buttons, combinations, sequences, and long presses (press and hold). You can show your actions in the form of pop-up menus that can be opened with hotkeys, record, edit, and execute macros (key sequences), emulate mouse clicks, type and paste text (including formatted text), instantly fill in forms on websites, launch programs, open websites (you can insert currently selected text into their address parameters), change the layout and case of selected text, manage the power settings of your monitor and computer, control the volume or set it at a certain level, move and resize windows.

Key remappings can be restricted to specific applications and/or windows.

Excellent -- Like Karabiner for Windows!

Pros
+ Highly intuitive and easy to use. + Does not require editing of the Windows Registry. + Enables multiple profiles for different keyboards and layouts. + Does not require rebooting to change profiles.
Cons
+ Some Windows keyboard shortcuts appear not to work. + Seems expensive, but there are free options. + Enhanced documentation with examples would be helpful.
Summary
When using a Mac, I rely on Karabiner keyboard remapping software to create multiple profiles for different keyboards and layouts. I had searched in vain for a Windows keyboard remapping program that was as effective and intuitive as Karabiner until I discovered ATNsoft Key Manager. Highly recommended.
Great Key/Mouse Commands-Needs Much More Documentation

Pros
Love ability to define new modifiers and mouse/keyboard macros. Much more "finger friendly" remapped mouse & keyboard for my arthritic hands.
Cons
So many new features I don't know how to use at this point, because the documentation and examples are just not there (yet?).
Summary
Great mouse/keyboard functionality and visual cues, but woefully lacking in documentation and examples. ATNSOFT could sell a lot more of these if they just realized lots of non-programmers need better documentation and more examples (almost one per feature) to understand Key Manager. ATNSOFT could considerably broaden their customer base by supplying this.
Excellent mix of text expansion and macro software!

Easy to use macro software which doubles as a very useful text expander, but with no need to remember text shortcuts as pop up menus (with differnt profiles for different categories) save the need for shortucts. Excellent!
Cons
None at all.

Easily create & edit macros, remap formerly useless keys, and create user defined menus so you can trigger your macros with with either a mouse click, a keypress, or a hot-key combination.
Cons
None, except the free version is limited to ten macros.
Summary
This program is great! It sends keystrokes allowing the creation of macros. The genius: it can create menus of your macros, and can trigger the macros with methods in addition to the usual hot-key combinations. For example: A "long press" right mouse click brings up a user-customized menu that let's me select any key or hot-key combination with my mouse; great if your hands are limited by chronic disease, or if you just prefer using the mouse. A never-used key on my keyboard is now programmed to create the multi-keypress ASCII bullet points I use frequently, a huge convenience! Many other features are available, and the program is easy to learn. I use it many times daily. Worth every penny!

Pros
Was able to fix issues in games that didn't let me map characters how I wanted. Could easily change Ctrl + Up to Ctrl + Delete, F11 to F12, Caps Lock to Up key, and other random changes that only affect one program!
Cons
So many features I don't need now, but I went for it instead of key remapper just to have them. So far, I'm impressed with what I've used, but have a feeling I won't use all the features.
Summary
Great program. Especially for games and other software that won't let you remap keys however you want.

Very simple, intuitive, lightweight and cute. And it works!

Haven't found anything yet. I think that the price is a little big for such a small program, but will buy it anyway.
Summary
I was spending more then 4 hours in order to find a program which can replace Left,Right,Up,Down buttons with Alt+JKLI, that I think is very useful when programming or editing text. Most of the macros programs don't offer the possiblility of ramapping keys, others that offer just don't work! Finally I found this program. Of course it has much more useful functions.
