  I use it like this: Save my IP in a HTML to an online ftp storage. HTML contains a redirection code to my IP. To shorten my storage link to my online storage and remember it easily, I used tinyurl. And now i can access to my IP from anywhere using a URL provided by tinyurl.

  Runtime Error 216 at 00403E02 on startup. First comes the usual Windows Message about sending report to microsoft. Then this error msg pops up. I am using an HP Compaq dx2390 Microtower with Windows XP Pro Ver.5.1.2600 SP2 Build 2600 running on a Core2Duo 2.5MHz chip with 1GB Ram.

  I configured it to grab my WAN IP address from my router at home and update my DNS hostname on DynDns.org and it works great.

  I've been searching for a program that would update me when my IP address from various computers at home changes and this does just that! The best part of it all is that the author provides this free. There are many methods of notifying me when a change has occured which is very handy. I searched google and all of download.com and this one tops them all. The only comparable program was monster IP, however I didn't feel as if I had control over the program. If the computer was not connected within the set time check it would constantly pop an error msg. I was unable to disable this feature.

  Say your power goes out at home. Your server is rebooted and your assigned a new IP address... with this tool it runs as a SERVICE so as soon as your server come back up BOOM! your either e-mailed your new IP address or set it up to hit a URL. This program is very flexible and not specific to any one "Dynamic DNS" company so if you set it up correctly it will work with ANY of the dDNS sites! This tool give YOU the power to do what you want with it.

  This is great software. It runs as a service under win2k so I can keep track of it easier. Very clean interface. Had a bit of trouble getting it to work with my router, but the devloper got back to me in a couple of days with a work - around. I love it so much I made a donation!

  Easy to install, runs on all sorts of platforms. Great package of features coming from the public (Like you and me). If you need to keep posted on you network's dynamic IP address then this is the package.
