Kaku for iOS

Kaku is a digital notebook for writing Japanese. It combines a number of different tools all into one app:

- An offline translator powered by Google Translate that translates as you type

- Dictionary look-up on highlighted text

- Common word lists

- Grammar reference/snippets

- Automatic syncing so that the note you wrote on your iPhone will also appear on your iPad

Kaku is like having training wheels for Japanese communication. It can be used before you post a message on social media to help verify the correctness of your message. Or it can be used as a replacement for your physical notebook while doing Japanese exercises so you spend less time writing individual characters and flicking through pages. Kaku has a number of valuable resources all in one place.
