Jscape Reverse Proxy (Linux) is unique in that it provides reverse proxy and load balancing support for both the control and data connections used in FTP and FTPS protocols. Many generic solutions claim to offer support for FTP and FTPS protocols but in reality can only support the control connection (connection used to exchange commands between client and server) and cannot handle the data connection (connection used to exchange file and directory listing data). This can easily complicate file transfers and become the source of many technical support issues down the road.
