For my standard iPhoto library I saved more than 30 GB of hard drive space. But most importantly, I did it while preserving the quality of images.

No real "cons" as the software is easy to use, though some apparently didn't find the right link to JPEGmini Lite from the original CNET review. I am happy I searched it out.
Summary
I've always been skeptical of compressing photos since I want them to "live forever". I am so happy I found JPEGmini! In fact I upgraded already to JPEGmini from JPEGmini Lite. Thanks for the review CNET.
