Pros
For my standard iPhoto library I saved more than 30 GB of hard drive space. But most importantly, I did it while preserving the quality of images.
Cons
No real "cons" as the software is easy to use, though some apparently didn't find the right link to JPEGmini Lite from the original CNET review. I am happy I searched it out.
Summary
I've always been skeptical of compressing photos since I want them to "live forever". I am so happy I found JPEGmini! In fact I upgraded already to JPEGmini from JPEGmini Lite. Thanks for the review CNET.

Here is your free JPEGmini Mac: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/jpegmini-lite/id525742250?mt=12 I have used many compression software before, this one is the best ever. Fully automatic, no questions or parameters to set. Just drug a folder, or iPhoto lib, and save.

Looks like a very high quality software, UI is impressive. Many 5-stars at Apple app store from users like me that need simple, automatic optimization to share, upload and store hundreds of GBs.
