• Excellent - but needs to handle larger files

  Pros

  Brilliant compression and really, really easy to use and very quick.

  Cons

  I really could do with something that handles larger files. I have a very large (224 Mega Pixel) image that I need to compress but this software won't touch anything over 60 Mega Pixels. Very frustrating - why can't it??

  Pros

  Saves me room in my 10GB proofing gallery and allows me to deliver DVD's again when I have large amounts of files.

  Cons

  Mini has no LR5 plug in

  some files were not compressed due to their size but there was no indication as to which ones. it would be nice to know what was skipped

  I just compressed a file that was a mix of jpeg and raw images from 244 GB to 50 GB with Jpegmini. This is by far, the best and easiest program I've used for image compression. Better than trying to figure out dimensions and compress your images directly with lightroom or photoshop. It will now become a permanent part of my lightroom work flow and for all my cloud storage uploading

  it only shrinks JPGs not other useless windows files or videos

  Pros

  Super fast and easy. I really like this product, one of my top 5 apps, a must have specially if you need to publish good photos on websites, they still look great but light and great to be seen in all equipments, such as tablets,mobile phones etc

  Cons

  Should have the option to create destination folder. I have to be carefull, always copy and paste the files that i need to resize. Most of the times we resize images because we want to publish them, but we want to keep the originals for future projects.

  Pros

  Very good compression, with no apparent loss of image quality (Copy checked against original in fine detail digitally). Best on larger images.

  Cons

  Non pro version allows you add folders to process, but it's second step. Might consider using the pro version to allow images to be automatically saved in JPEGmini. Also while counter shows how much space has been saved, it doesn't show how many photos have been processed.

  - quick - effective - good quality of pictures after resizing them

  Cons

  - I can't drop any files, I always have to "choose" them from folders, which is way slower (I have Windows 8)
