iSMARTtrain is a Mac OS X journal application to track and analyse athletic training. The software allows athletes to store information about their training sessions, such as duration, distance and speed, and view the data in either a graphical or tabular form. Any number of different sports can be quickly and easily tracked, using either metric or imperial units for each sport. Commonly used routes and sessions can be stored and quickly recalled. Total times, distances and number of sessions can be viewed per week or month. Data can be entered manually, or downloaded from a number of devices, including Polar heart rate monitors, Garmin GPS, PowerTap, SRM & Ergomo power meters. Downloaded data can be viewed graphically in a number of formats.

I have bought the Polar serial interface and the suggested USB adaptor, and everything worked smoothly.
The software is in many aspects superior compared to Polar's PPP!
Great app that gets better with each version

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I've now been using TrainingLog since mid-August and have been very happy with my purchase. It has matured to the point that I don't bother keeping a duplicate log on my Windows PC anymore. The software offers almost everything I need including the ability to track multiple sports/activities, associate workouts with equipment used (so I can see how many kilometres I've put on my shoes) and the ability to create predefined routes to speed up workout entry. While support for downloading workouts from older models of Polar HRMs is occasionally buggy, support for the newer models is getting better with each release. What's missing, however, is support for editing and uploading workouts to the HRM. For this you still need a Windows PC unless you want to program the workout directly on the HRM.
On the support side, Stuart does a great job responding to bug reports and feature requests in a timely and professional manner via both email and in his support forum.

I would like to see html and/or text export. This way I can use it in my weblog. I did pay for a license, because it is OK now.

just noticed the new version and saw that you corrected that speed difference thingy between sessions diary window and detail view. cool + thanks, the app is very good to have.
