This app has been created and developed by Dr. Alberto Sanchez, MD, PH D, Orthopaedic Surgeon, specializing in shoulder arthroscopy.I tried to reflect my knowledge of shoulder pathology, from my years of experience as well as visits to the best shoulder specialists in the world.This application contains information of interest on shoulder pathology. It is intended for patients, medical students, nursing, physiotherapy, but also to general practitioners and specialists in Orthopaedics, Rehabilitation, Rheumatology, ..., because it contains both basic and advanced information, so also goes to specialized arthroscopic surgeons and shoulder surgeons .. It is divided into several sections. DOCTORS: -Anatomy (muscles, surgical approaches, ligaments, arthroscopic anatomy, ...) -Injuries (fractures, subacromial impingement, rotator cuff tears, instability, SLAP, ..., with specific sections of treatment and surgical technique) -Exploration (specific maneuvers for each pathology with explanatory illustrations) -Tests (major diagnostic imaging methods and a display section MRI with different projections of the names of structures) -Treatments (drugs, injections and description with pictures, arthroscopy portals,...)-Postoperative (by type of procedure) -Rehabilitation (protocols with illustrations) -Questionnaires or scores (Constant, Rowe, UCLA, Quick Dash,... with provision for the application calculate the results) PATIENTS: Practical guides for the most common diseases, treatment, rehabilitation and exercise protocols, with illustrative drawings and explanations to facilitate its implementation. UTILITIES:-Calendar: to organize and keep track of the events in your agenda.-Notes: to add your own information save and share them.-Voice notes:record, save and share voice messages.-Drawing: you can paint in a shoulder model to explain the lesions to your patients, or to simulate a rotator cuff repair.Tested on the latest generation iPad retina display (iPad 3), drawings and images do not lose quality, so iPad users can also download it. The purpose of the application is to educate patients about shoulder problems and to serve as reference for health professionals with a tool that encompasses the most relevant shoulder pathology, both basic and advanced.
