  I use this on my desktop (Win 7 business) and it does a good job. I tried loading it on my laptop (Win Vista) and it simply won't run. Windows reports that the program stopped working immediately upon trying to launch it - every time. I tried "Running as administrator" (even though I am one), I tried running in XP compatibility mode. No luck. So I recommend the program - as long as it works on your system.

  Does exactly what it says it does. Unlike some of the comments, I found the program to be straight-forward and easy to use.

  It would be nice if it also changed the "Alternate DNS server", but let's be honest, the program is free.

  The app only needs to perform a simple task -- can't figure out how to make it do it.

  Summary

  Help text was useless in trying to get this application to perform a relatively undemanding, non-complex task. Five or ten minutes spent trying to make it work but no luck -- forget it.

  Cannot change to an IP-set without gateway address and seems to pick the last IP-set quite often even if you select IP-set before right clicking to activate. So if you only have one interface or always need default gateway set it's a great tool otherwise useless

  Didn't work, not sure if it was something I was doing wrong, read the documentation and followed the other reviewers instructions and everything seemed to work but it didn't actually change anything.

  Summary

  It might just be a setting on my machine stopping this from working, but can't give it more than 2 stars if it doesn't work.

  This is EXACTLY what you want if you are trying to change IP address quickly. I work for a Wireless ISP and I have to change my IP over 20 times a day. This program has made my life so much easier.

  Cons

  None that I have found.

  Summary

  To the guy that said it doesn't work, he clearly didn't read the directions, or doesn't understand networking. Just delete the default IP configurations the program comes with, put in your own, and that's it!

  Pros

  Perfect! Just what I was looking for. A small simple app to switch IPs quickly. There are some minor bugs with the user interface, but nothing you cant figure out in 2 minutes. Its lightweight, portable, no-nonsense, and free :)

  If it weren't for the quirks I'd give it 5 stars. You first need to delete the default connection, then define your LAN connection. Noobs may find this tricky. Right clicking IP Sets and clicking edit does not work, you have to select the main IP Set, then click edit from the main menu. You cant just right click and IP set and click activate, you first have to left click it, then right click it. So its slightly quirky, but it works once you're used to it :)
