Intercept Technologys Impedance Calculator allows engineers specializing in the design and layout of printed circuit boards to calculate the total electrical impedance for the following transmission line types:MicrostripEmbedded microstripEdge-coupled microstripSymmetric striplineAsymmetric striplineBroadside-coupled striplineEnter physical line values for dielectric height/thickness, wire width, wire thickness, relative dielectric constant and wire gap (if applicable) to calculate impedance. The calculator also determines wire width if the impedance is known.Additional information:Units may be selected as microns or MM as needed. Impedance is calculated in Ohms.
