Used Insights for Mac?
Editors’ Review
As an effective data mining software, Insights for Mac can be used by professionals across industries. With it you can predict sales, project production and demand, organize and analyze data from government agencies, process climate-change-related information, and accomplish various other data mining, analysis, and forecasting tasks.
Pros
Self-organizing and mostly autonomous: Providing AI-backed data mining and analysis capabilities, Insights for Mac identifies relevant data and presents trends and projections with very minimal user intervention. The latest version already includes forecasting, supplementing the adaptive learning modeling methods present in the previous versions.
Model stability value calculation: This app comes up with a model stability value for every forecast or model generated to provide guidance on the applicability of such forecasts or models.
64-bit parallel software with vector processing: It scales to the hardware of the computer running it and implements vector processing. As such, it maximizes all the computing power of your Mac. It performs better when used with better hardware.
Cons
Takes time to master:This is not a specialist software, so you may have to spend some time figuring it out first before you can make the most of what it can do.
Has a minimum screen resolution requirement: You need at least a 1280x768 resolution to run this software.
Bottom Line
Insights for Mac offers a wide variety of functions for data mining, analysis, model generation, simulation, and forecasting that work well, proving quite useful. The version being reviewed here is a lighter version of the same Insights data mining software used by NASA, Mobil, Pfizer, Merck, and a number of other major global companies. Hence, its algorithmic integrity is basically indubitable.
