• Have problems finding solutions

  Pros

  It.s very funny. Find solutions quickly.

  Cons

  When you have two solutions, the program only has one. if you choose the wrong digit, in the correct solution , different to the program, a pop out tells you, "Whoops! That not fit!"

Ask to the program Solve.and Save the solution. You can see that the solution is different to own solution. Try to solve the sudoku with your solution. You can see that the program show a message saying "whoops! That no fit!" The program ignore your solution!!! For the program the only solution is the Ichiban solution: False because you have another solution. You can see, with 22 numbers (the program ask minimum 17) there is another solution and it can't solve with your solution.

  Pros

  You don't need to press numbers on the keyboard. When you click a box, numbers pop out and you just have to choose. Interface is fine.

  Cons

  It's too easy. As in, if you choose the wrong digit, a pop out tells you, "Whoops! That not fit!" And it doesn't allow you to choose or type more than one digit in a box which is very useful when you come to the hard levels. Unfortunately this one doesn't. I'd rather play sudoku at some online newspaper.

  Pros

  I have played with the program for a while and am quite impressed. It is pleasing to the eye and the 'pencil marks' are properly placed (1 always in the upper-left corner, 5 in the middle, etc.) The only other Sudoku program I have really found that has all the features I like is "Sudoku Works" from Oak Systems and this one is just as good, if not better. <p> <p>I like the way the puzzles are printed at the top of a sheet of paper instead of in the middle. This allows me to turn the paper end-for-end and print another puzzle on the same side of the paper, which saves paper (I don't like to print on the back of a sheet for puzzles as the bleed-through bothers me). <p> <p>I have briefly read your help file and it seems very good and especially helpful to someone new to Sudoku. It is short and to the point which encourages someone to read it. Very long and detailed help files often discourage people from using them as them should.

  Cons

  The one major suggestion I have is to have an option to turn off error checking. In other words, allow me to make a mistake - that's part of the fun of the puzzle solving!

  Full screen; sounds (on or off); easy to insert chosen number (a clock face surrounds the cell when you click in it).

  Cons

  The manual option for marking cells is not present. It changes screen resolution if you try to switch to other programs, then crashes. It lets you know when you've made an error, so it's easy to cheat, and I don't think you can turn this action off.
