HyperDock for Mac lets you take a quick look at the windows you have open in each program when you hover over icons in the Dock. See thumbnails of both open and minimized windows in the same place, and quickly access the programs you need with one click through this app's intuitive and convenient interface.

When you install HyperDock, it will run from the System Preferences menu. To customize your user experience, you can set Preferences for Enabling Window Previews and Activation Delay Time in milliseconds. It's also possible to select whether or not you want to include windows from all display spaces in the thumbnail previews that pop up, and to turn on or off the inclusion of minimized windows. Windows previews can appear in order of creation time or of most recent usage, and you can select or deselect certain Dock items if you don't want them to show previews. In addition to the main features of this app, there are also some additional touches, such as the ability to create and manage keyboard shortcuts for the app's controls, and the option to have windows snap automatically when you drag them to the edges of the screen.

HyperDock for Mac is a powerful and convenient program, with a lot of great features. It runs smoothly, and it's free to try for 15 days to see if it's something you'd like to use on a regular basis. If you do want to keep the program, you'll have to pay $9.95 for a full license, which seems a little high, even though the app does work quite well.

1 Star rating based on buying the app directly from developer Christian Baumgart's website but only getting e-mailed "license" in some unknown format. Immediately contacted Christian but he has not responded to numerous messages, including to his e-mail address and through his website's web-form.
A solid addition to the Dock's capabilities

Pros
Adds a few features made popular on Windows such as screen snapping. Also, if you ever lose windows from some apps beneath other ones, this one can really help.
Cons
It's easy to forget that it's there, as we are all using the Dock less and less these days. Windows do not always appear where you dragged them to when you drag from the Dock Preview (OS 10.9.5 tested)
Summary
It's not for everyone, but if you don't already have something that does Window Management then it's worth a look. I bought it and I do not regret it.

Does exactly what it states. Excellent app preview if 'minimize into application icon' is set (as suggested.) Has worked for me flawlessly since I first began using it with 10.6. Works well with 10.8. Despite claims of excessive CPU drain - I find that the CPU is lower than the vast majority of running apps and processes. I have found that Safari, iTunes, Activity Monitor, Magic Prefs, SystemUI, and Dropbox (just to name a few) consistently have a higher CPU drain, when running in the background than does HyperDock. A fifteen day free trial is MUCH better than no free trial at all, and without a doubt significantly better than the 20 minutes some apps give your and overwhelmingly better than one hour or level as is common with most games and entertainment software. IF you use HyperDock for the 15 day free trial you will discover quite soon after NOT using it how much you miss it.

None that I can think of.
Summary
The many user adjustable features and reliability of HyperDock will make it a much appreciated addition to you Mac user experience. While not essential, or must have application, I believe most users will find that using it is quick, easy, flawless, AND useful! As far as the price goes... Most people spend twice as much to go to a Movie Theatre. Hands down HyperDock will prove useful long beyond the hour and a half and double the money that was spent for 'just' entertaining one's self.

A nice utility which preview open documents in active applications via the Dock.
Cons
In the month I am using this application the 2.5 GHz intel core 2 duo CPU in my PowerBook Pro machine worked harder than ever for very long periods. My usually fast and responsive machine behaved like a M$ VISTA machine.
Summary
As soon as I disabled the utility my computer started to behave like a Mac again. As it turns out I spent $10 for nothing, unless the developer will fix that issue.

-Window management is great! -Easy to install. -Lots of personalization options. -You can try before you buy!
Cons
I only found the window management feature useful. I found the small preview pop-ups to be quite annoying at times. For the average user the majority of features wouldn't be useful and it may not be worth the money.
Summary
Some useful features, some of the options hard to understand. Window management is a great feature from windows seven brought to Mac in a way that works. It's worth a try and then you can decide if its for you.
