Met at DaVinci Inventor showcase...sounded like an optimum deal.
Cons
Called for help ... "kid" gave some directions. Applied ...didn't work. Paid for nothing! My fault not to follow up. Customer service frustrating and disappointing.

Seemed easy enough to use for someone who had little computer experience.
Cons
Absolutely no customer service. Only an email address and you are at their mercy if they chose to answer you. If there is a problem, it may be days or weeks ( if at all) that you hear from them. Apparently, their servers have crashed but they did not feel the need to send out an email or let their clients know. Instead, we have all spent hours trying to log in, installing and re-installing the program and trying to contact them. Unbelievable~
Summary
I started with Hybir in December 2012. My computer crashed over last weekend. I was unable to log into Hybir after repeated tries. I have been emailing customer support all week and finally got an answer yesterday. Here is their response: The consumer backup servers went down and we are trying to rebuild them. The rebuild might take some time so I can offer you a refund if you do not want to wait. I am sorry for the inconvenience. Please advise what you want us to do". Well, what I want is my data as I use my computer for work and this was how I planned on backing up and staying safe in the event that my computer crashed. Now what???? I feel sick.

I purchased the full version with the extreme package. I might has well given the money to a street bum. I'm almost wondering if this is an elaborate scam just to get your money. I got ZERO service for my money. The lowest Cnet will allow me to rate is .5 but I would give them a 0.

Unable to sign in. Have been a "Pro" user for over a year and now cannot even start the program. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the program twice to no avail.

Don't use this program. Not reliable and is currently unusable.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Aug 28, 2012<p/>Now two months since submitting a request for support to allow access. Still no response!! Program useless without resetting my password. It seems as if the company has put the program out in cyberspace and abandoned it!! Reducing my one star to ZERO if I could. I have paid for two years use (Pro user) and cannot use my last year..Not happy!!!

Easy and pain free to upload all your data to Hybir as well as a standalone external harddrive

After being a customer for nearly a year, their program would no longer enable be to authorize and sign on. Every day their system pops up and will not allow sign on, rendering it worthless. I have written their customer service support and called this support line and CANNOT get any support to fix the issue. As a result, I must abandon all this work and move to another vender.
Summary
Very frustrating, company to deal with. And they are even based in the same city of Denver? I would not go back.
It isn't really free, but it seems to work

I have been using the free trial of this program. It does back up everything you tell it to, including your full C drive. You can restore from it, although I have not yet tried a "bare metal" restore.
Cons
I do object to the company not being upfront about the purpose and nature of this program. It is dishonest, in my opinion. If there were any other alternatives for online backup available, I would reject this company for that reason.
Summary
If you want a pain-free (well, nearly pain-free) way to keep current backups of your system, including all of your C drive, this is the only online solution there is. You can also do the backups manually to a removable media device, but this way is automatic and it works. The price is reasonable. I intend to get the pro version ($10 a month) soon. They also have a standard version ($5 a month). The other reviewer is right-- this is a way to sell online storage space, but considering that this particular service is unheard of, it is worth the cost. Other online backup services don't back up the whole computer, only selected file types or folders. Also, this program will back up to your local drive, if you choose. It might be useful for that, but I have not yet tested that particular feature. For that purpose, it would be free.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Mar 3, 2011<p/>I wish I could take back the review now. I have been having trouble rebooting my computer ever since my free trial ran out and "something" shut down Carbonite today when I rebooted (with the help of an Acronis bootable CD, since I could not get it to reboot any other way). I have my suspicions, and I think I can justify them. Now I would reduce it to 0 stars, if I could.

I liked how easy it was to download and use. I completed a full online backup this morning before I finished my breakfast. I didn't have to read any manual or instructions....it just worked great.

Summary
Hybir was easy to use. Basically I just downloaded it and pushed start. I'm very surpised how fast my entire computer was backed up. So far this product blows away my other online solution which took 9 days to back up. Hybir backed up my entire computer this morning. And from reading the website this product apparently does a full backup online. I'd like to really know more about how this is done. I highly recommend Hybir. I think it is a gem. Good luck with it!
