HQ - Live Trivia Game Show, as its name implies, is a live trivia game show that takes place daily on your phone or tablet. You are the contestant. Get all the answers right and take home $500 to $5,000.

Easy gameplay: You'll get a series of multiple choice questions -- around a dozen -- that range from easy to difficult. Tap one of the three potential answers that appear on the screen and move on to the next round. If, at the end of the game, there are multiple winners, the purse is split. If there is no winner, the winnings roll over to the next game.

Challenging questions: Anyone can tap, but not everyone will know the answers to all the questions. That keeps things interesting.

Animated hosts and graphics: The amped-up game show hosts and wild graphics that are interwoven throughout the game help keep players hyped.

Notifications: Sign up for notifications to receive helpful reminders to tune in just before games are about to start.

Cons

Limited usability: HQ - Live Trivia Game Show only runs games at 9 p.m. EDT seven days a week, as well as 3 p.m. EDT on weekdays. If you're not available at those times or you'd rather play at other times during the day, you're out of luck.

Technical difficulties: Due to the app's rapid growth, it regularly freezes and the sound comes in and out.
