Hot Spot X is a modern remake of an old Mac OS Classic game called Hot Spot. You have a game board that consists of four concentric rings around a center spot (check out the screenshots). You also have 32 game tiles consisting of two tiles each of every combination of four colors and four symbols (2 x 4 x 4 = 32). The object of the game is to place a tile in that center spot by working your way in from the outer rings by followingc certain rules:

Tiles cannot match their neighbors in symbol or color.
Tiles in the inner rings must match one of the parent tiles they are connected to by color and the other by symbol.

Thanks the author for this great piece of free software: Hot Spot X is really a great game with an outstanding idea in the back and a great graphic in the front, too (it reminds me a kind of "Myst style" puzzle). So, thanks a lot again for this high addictive little jewel!

I'd say the term "easy" is very relative in this case - I think it's hard as hell no matter what skill level you select. One problem it seems to have is that the high scores table doesn't work - they all say zero and yet I've never been prompted to give it my initials. I would also suggest you set it to bring up a new game when the app is launched.
