Hollow Ground Special Edition is a 3rd-person shooter that emphasizes action, oberservation and tactical skills. The gameplay is old-school but the graphics are fully revamped to take advantage of modern hardware. One or two players guide four mercenaries through the grimy ruins of a post-apocalyptic bunker through traps and boss monsters to find the source of a plague of mutants. 48 power-ups and 78 maps keep HGSE re-playable.
