Pros
Having flown over 100,000 miles a year for 15 years, I found "Holding Pattern" to be pleasent. There was definitely a feeling of deja vu. The color quality is excellent and it shows the beautiful panorama one sees from the air. There is also a wonderful tranquility about it.
Cons
First, including passengers in some of the scenes was a mistake. I found them distracting. Also, it made me feel like I was sitting in the middle seat, a seat I have always despised. Second, the slow speed at which the aircraft seems to be moving is somewhat unrealistic, particularly since the aircraft, in many scenes, is not much more than 5000 feet high. Every plane I have ever flown in, even at altitude, moved faster than the aircraft depicted in these scenes. Were these aircraft on approach?

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />This is an interesting idea. It's a little boring once you've looked at it for a while, but it is a screen-saver, after all, not a movie. I'd prefer that is only use scenes where the window edges are barely (or not) visible, but I assume that a limitation of the free version that you can pay to change. Not my favorite screen-saver, but still fun to have.
