Hardwood Euchre is a classic card game combined with colorful graphics and challenging gameplay. Played on a wooden table, this revamped classic lures you in with a colorful storybook theme featuring enchanting music and imagery. The playing cards are 3D, so they flip and turn as you play. Choose from different fantasy card sets that come with the game, or even build your own decks. Euchre's tutorials will help you learn to play with Smoot the dragon, Glitter the fairy, or Elly the Troll, which are just a few of the colorful characters you can play with. There are 31 different characters to play in all. Customize your own player by selecting different character images and backgrounds; each have thousands of color possibilities. Be a sweet little puppy or a demon dog from the underworld, all by simply editing your characters. Hardwood Euchre can be played over the Internet, so you can meet players from all across the country.

no euchre smarts, makes bad calls, calls trump without the cards, when they do have the cards, they play them incorrectly., not for smart euchre players. need to come up with a new version or a higher playing level.

Better than nothing. Nobody plays euchre around here.
Cons
Frequently get euchred multiple times in one game. Partner will make trump on absolutely nothing. After a couple hundred games you know in advance what is going to happen and when.

There has to be something better out there.

This is a game that sever pics the winner by mid game 90% of the time. By the time you figgure it out they got your money and HARDWOOD wont return it. You will get good cards for the first 30 days and then get ready for nines tens and queens, Becouse the people that are on there first 30 day trial will get the strong hands to get there money. Im am not the only one that has notice this we wright it in the forum and they take it out and send you a email saying that is not alowed in there forum. This is fraud to get your money!

Easy to play. The cards are shrouded when they can't be played, making easy selection. Interesting features such as portrait colouring.
Cons
Redundant Fooms and graphics that distract gameplay. No "No Trump" option or Call for Best card when playing alone. Important aspects of the game are not obvious, like what's the trump suit or who's the dealer.

I never played Euchre before Hardwood, but once I played it I kept coming back to play again. The friendly atmosphere in HW Euchre was the thing that made me enjoy Euchre the most. Many good players are willing to teach you and everyone is eager to play. There is always a tourney to join if that's what you enjoy or you can just relax in smoots. The fooms of kisses, rainbows, snowballs, ect and the characters are a few of the other things that will make your gaming experience at HW Euchre enjoyable.
