GPS ToolKit.NET provides access to dozens of data sets, including position, speed, course, satellite, and navigation data. Additionally, it provides automatic detection of GPS units, notification of GPS connection and disconnection, and automatic COM port discovery. Software comes with 9 example applications written in Visual Basic.NET, C#, and C++ .NET.

Version 3 adds support for transferring waypoints, adding, and editing routes, and downloading tracks from many Garmin GPS devices, including the eTrex and GPS III series.
