With a tip of the hat to the nostalgia market, this game is largely an emulation of an 8-bit title from the late 1980s. It looks wholly outdated, and the music is tinny and simple, but that's the point. The player is cast in the role of a thief hoping to rob Spain's main bank, a task which largely involves collecting bags of money, throwing bricks at various monsters, and collecting pieces of the combination to the bank's safe. Along the way, money can be spent on various gadgets that help the thief along. English speakers may be frustrated by the default Spanish language, which can be changed by pressing the third button in the right column on the pop-up menu that launches the game. Alternately, choosing the "Opciones" menu, then "Configurar" and finally "Idioma" will let users swap languages. Fans of the original Goody will likely find this a welcome trip down memory lane, as will players who fondly remember that era's undemanding platform games. Other players may find it a bit simplistic for modern tastes, however.
Yeah well I guess this game came out back in the 80's or something and now it's back, but since I can't compare it to the original I'll base my opinion on what I just played... a great side scrolling game that's lots of fun. Your character is this beer drinking brick throwing dude with a cigarette always in his mouth... I call that a role model if I've ever seen one! Good fun considering I'm not a fan of side scrollers.
Cons
Well, I can't really knock anything considering I've never played the original can I?
Summary
A great remake
