Organize and track personal and shared projects, issues, contacts.
Golden Rules Organizer is professional organizer combining personal database and LAN-or Dropbox-based collaborative spaces. It provides three planning levels: mission & values, projects, recurring and one-time tasks. Projects facility includes cost and expense tracking. Planner facility supports periodical plans (e.g., daily, weekly, half-yearly) with objectives and completion tracking. Scheduler allows to manage one-time and recurring appointments, compose appointment agenda, link appointments to other entities (e.g., contacts), classify by time slot (examples: arrangements, value-adding activities). Other facilities include rich text descriptions, log / diary, time tracking, powerful contact manager, hierarchical listings (notes and bookmarks). Shared spaces allow to manage shared projects, issues, contacts, and notes using LAN or web-synchronized drive like Dropbox. Spaces are edited in distributed fashion and can be saved locally and sycnhronized when possible. No server installation is required. Advanced tagging system allows to easily attach tags and tag bundles to activities, contacts, projects, diary entries, and notes. The organizer provides several automation options, in addition to recurring activities: urgency escalation every number of days, auto-expiration of over-due activities, auto-renewal of pending activities at certain date. Organizer allows export to spreadsheets and printing of selected data, as well as extensive reporting facility (HTML reports) and search facility. Export and import of entire database, as well as portability to USB stick (Windows, Linux, Unix), are provided for easy commuting between computers. Portable GRO installation instructions are available on GRO site.
The description says it's for these :
Operating system: Windows XP/Vista/Server 2008/7
NOT. It's not for ANY computer regardless of what OS you have. This program contains nothing but .jar files which can only be used on a cell phone, and only "certain phones" at that.
Doubly stupid is that it's NOT "free" but says in the file name AND on their site that it's a DEMO.
A "demo" yet no where on their site it is available for purchase. Can't purchase it? So this means it's listed here as a JOKE program. What else can explain a demo being offered that no one can buy? It's got to be a joke.
CNET -
You need to remove this program since it was listed as a joke and nothing more.
P.S. I've given various reviews of different programs but I've NEVER had to say a program was listed as a joke. This a new one!
