Itll teach you the academic jargon you need to know when conducting research, holding high-level academic discussions, studying at university, and working professionally in academia or research. These words were selected through rigorous international research into the vocabulary required for high achievement, and found to be the words youll encounter most in text books, on tests, and in the classroom. Command of them is necessary for success at the highest level, but they are often not explicitly taught at school. Each word in the app has a definition, an example sentence, and a pronunciation guide from a native speaker, so youll have full authority of your new vocabulary. You can also add words to your own library of favourites so you can revisit at a later date and suggest a new word. Every word in Gobby Academy has been given a score of 1-5 which tells you how much it is in use.
