• Reason Core Security is now the replacement

  Pros

  After microsoft bought it Reason software replaced it with herdProtect and soon that is getting replaced with their new product Reason Core Security which includes excellent protection and lots of features.

  Cons

  If you are using it switch to Reason Core Security.

  Pros

  Fast and accurate scanning. Security Agents are quick in reaction if any threat is found. Good support and help from SpyNet community. If spyware or other malware is found they are instantly ready to assist you solve security risks.

  Cons

  To me personally, GIANT AntiSpyware has not many options. It wouldn't be bad if they add immunization in this program for even better prevention combined with such fast Real-time Protection.

  Prevention is a key for stoping malware and new infections. This program is based on prevention and protection. Except of Security Agents, GIANT Company Software provides even more real protection and this is live support from SpyNet. Great add-on to your Security Agents, because you can get help immediately.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Jun 25, 2010<p/>GIANT AntiSpyware just yestrday removed you won't belive, but over 300 (haven't count), all various threats and infections from my computer. He found about 40-50 adware infections, twelve chunks of pure spyware infections, he detected most of Trojans, ten-fifteen pieces of Dialers, one Hacktool, nine Rogue infections, three Backdoors, twenty-five Browser Hijackers, Keyloggers, fifteen pure Malwares and five RAT infections (Remote Administration Tool). Best of all, i wrote names of those infections in Notepad. So wonder my PC is still "alive". My scanning combination was GIANT AntiSpyware, SUPERAntiSpyware, a-squared, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, SPINACH AntiSpyware, AviraAnti Vir Premium, Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010 (of course after Avira's removal). So yes i think that GIANT AntiSpyware is for real first and last line of Defense. Thanks to him, he found most of infections, my PC is alive now!!!
