Geotag images using Google Earth.

Simply point Google Earth (version 4 and above) at the location you want and drop your images onto Geotagger's icon (in the Dock or Finder). It will fetch the location from Google Earth and write it into the Exif data. Geotagger is free and will remain so, but if you like what I've done you're encouraged to make a small PayPal donation so I can buy an iPhone and start coding for that too.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I found this to work quite well. Makes it dead simple to geotag photos without the use of a GPS reciever. One minor tweak, some of my photos ended up with locations slightly off from where I intended. If it's reved, I'd love to see a little UI in there like a "drop it here" window and the ability to manually edit location data. But, come on, it's free and it works. I can't complain.
Doesn't indicate whether it's North or South, East...
