It is a self-contained application (no Internet or cellular access required) that contains a vast amount of information about the geology and geography of the three states.This release contains 20 layers, which can be combined in any desired way:- states outlines- the complete geological map from USGS- detailed surficial geology- glacial limits- terrain elevation- bathymetry (ocean depth)- USGS quadrangles- quaternary faults- all earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 and above- urban areas- counties- hydrology- roads and major streets- all train tracks- all cities and towns- active mines- potassium/argon dates- state plane zones- UTM zones- aquifers (New York only)There have been a number of improvements since the release of the sister programs Geology CA and Geology TX.
