GenomeView is a next-generation stand-alone genome browser and editor. It provides interactive visualization of sequences, annotation, multiple alignments, synthetic mappings, and short read alignments. Many standard file formats are supported and new functionality can be added using a plug-in system. It features short read alignment visualization, multiple alignment viewer, and comparative genomics, easy integration with existing websites and data platforms, and authentication and encryption.
