This is the Hebrew system for calculating the numerical equivalence of letters, words and phrases. All words which have the same numerical value, share the same qualities, and reveal still other aspects of the Divine. This differs from other numerology methods in that that numbers are not reduced to a single digit and relationships between words can be determined by similar numerical values. Each letter of the alphabet is attributed to a particular number.
