Summary
I use this to sync my Google Calendar to Outlook. I am then able to view/edit my Outlook calendar on my Android phone and keep it in sync. Unfortunately the free version use to have scheduled sync but they removed that functionality some time ago. I have been using the free version for over a year (since Google stopped the free sync functionality they use to offer). I guess I'll finally pony up the $20 for the full version but I'm disappointed I have to do so for something that had been free for years (through Google).

Summary
Its 1 man shop, and as he is getting older and lazier there is less and less support available. Depending on his mood he can tell you to f### off in the email, literally, instead of resolving your request. It use to be decent software, but in last few years hundred of complaints have been received , so do not buy this product. Go with alternatives.

Pros
I installed v4 to sync my Outlook 2010 Calendar with my Google Calendar and am very pleased. The product works as advertised. I got to try before I bought and the ~ $20 price is reasonable. My registration key was provided within an hour or so, even though I registered the product over the weekend.
Cons
The instructions are a bit obscure.
Summary
A good product at a fair price if you need to sync both ways between Outlook and Google calendars.

Summary
I almost never pay for software, but I used the gsync free version until Google changed its way of handling recurring event syncs. The free version no longer worked, so I paid $20 for the full version for one calendar. I think this is a bit high for what you get, which is only the ability to sync tasks and contacts (which I don't really need) as well as the calendar, and the ability to set certain preferences. However, I need to access my appointments on my laptop and phone as well as my desktop, so I paid.
Though the product seems to work well and the sync is faster than the old Google sync, the instructions on the site leave out a couple key points: first, that you must create a new Google calendar, which appears to be a copy of the original one and make sure you are syncing to that; and second, that the preferences are not defaulted to sync Outlook to Google, but only the other way around. You have to check that box before you can sync.
I had several emails with a techie because I couldn't get it to work and even sent screen shots so he could see what my difficulty was. I am sure he neither read what I wrote nor looked at the shots. I also sent him the link to the instructions on the gsyncit site that told me to do something he was telling me not to do, and again, he couldn't have looked at the site because he did not address the question at all.
He finally wrote an email that made it pretty clear he thought I was an idiot, but I had gotten the sync working by then, by clicking around and analyzing what was happening. I emailed him what I figured out in the hopes that it will help someone in the future, though I doubt he will pass that on.
I have examined several sync programs, and the basic failing of all seems to be that they assume one wants to enter all their appointments online and sync to Outlook for...what? convenience? That makes no sense, since Outlook is a much more powerful program and easier-to-use program than online calendars, so if you are using Outlook, it would be your primary calendar. Otherwise, you woudl just stick to the online calendar. Gsyncit also assumes this, so once you get around that, you can figure out what to do.

This review makes some incorrect claims. Users do not need to create a new calendar when setting up the sync, the software is configured by default to sync two-way, and it does not assume one wants to enter all information online.
Users can choose to sync with their existing Google calendars, the software by default syncs two-way, and the software assumes Outlook is the "primary source" for content.
We understand people want to provide feedback to others but reviews are meaningless if they make incorrect statements.
We have worked hard to create gSyncit and make it a great product and will continue down this path.

They sold my work email address!! I had 6 years with ZERO spam (SIX YEARS!!!) and immediately after installing this product I started getting 30+ spam a day. AND it let it all bypass my "Safe List Only" selection for handling junk mail. I am hoping, now that I have uninstalled this POJ, that the spam starts landing in the junk-mail instead of my inbox. It is probably too much to hope for that it goes away altogether.
I am VERY disappointed with this company & their product and lack of email ethics.

I've looked at every setting I can think of. When you create a task from toodledo IT WILL NOT SHOW UP IN OUTLOOK 2013. What is the point of this? Do you test your products?! No way in hell I'm giving you $ 20 for this broken POS.

Summary
Initially the product worked well but after a while, i started experiencing syncing problems between Outlook and Google Calendar. It creates duplicates (sometimes even 3-4) instances of meetings requests I receive. It then tries to remove the duplicates and sends declined notices which has caused havoc with my customers. Does not handle meetings sent from different time zones.
Support were very responsive in trying to resolve issues but frankly its more hassle than its worth. My advice - avoid at all costs

We thoroughly test our software and the software offers a vast number of configuration options. How you configure the software has a direct result on the sync results including possible duplication of events.
Pros
Meets a need for Outlook.
Cons
Tech support is unresponsive. Purchasing process is antiquated (3 business days to confirm a credit purchase - in the 21st century - for online business!)

This is review is simply not honest. Purchased made through PayPal by credit card typically are processed automatically within one minute after completing the purchase. Once PayPal confirms the payment we immediately issue a product. However, e-Check and international payments may take longer due to clearing times between international banking institutions which is also stated on our website. Most that use eBay & PayPal will have the same experience.
Further, we respond daily to hundreds of support requests via email which can be lost due to any number of reasons. If users don't get a response submit another request. We see a number of emails where we respond the recipient and their mail server rejects our email or is over quota. Not much we can do here.
