Converts files at reasonable speed, quality. Simple interface. Can dump converted files in same directory as originals which are left intact, so you can convert and maintain your file tree structure if batch converting a library of music. An easy install but requires carefull reading of all the insttallation screens to avoid intalling other software.
Appears to have uninstalled cleanly.
Cons
Only carries over a mathing file name with .mp3 extension. Does not carry over artist and album information to the meta tags in converted files. This makes it useless in a medial library. You are no longer able to search of find by artist or album. The batch conversion consists of selection of individual files - not directories or sub directories - with the option of saving to the original location or a new directory. This is fine for a few dozen files but a pain if you want to batch convert all wmv files to mpg in a large library.
If you are not careful with the installation you will end up with some very unwanted and difficult to remove additional offerings

Nice interface, easy to use. But it won't output a converted file. It drops a file icon on my desktop but won't actually convert the .wmv file. Looks like it is going to - says it does, says it's finished, and nothing but a 0kb file.
