Although it lacks the massive amount of solitaire variations some competitors offer, this free application boasts an excellent feature set. Free Solitaire 3D only lets you play five games: Klondike, Spider, FreeCell, NewYork, and Pyramid.

As you might expect, the graphics aren't astonishing, but they are more polished than many card games out there. Where this game stands out is the amount of available user-customization options. For starters, you can play in full-screen or window mode and turn down the volume of the basic sound effects. If you want to get more in-depth, you can choose from a number of card styles, tweak the animation speed, and decide how cards are aligned on the table.

You even can view the scene using about 10 camera angles, as well as change the color and brightness of the lighting. Hard-core solitaire junkies might find the game library too thin, but most casual players will be glad they downloaded Free Solitaire 3D.

What’s new in version 5.02

Version 5.02 features online world scores, new card decks, tutorials, and updated graphics.

The free version was very addictive: the paid for version is mind blowingly good.

You cannot play in 3D mode with this solitaire, it's confusing. When you move the cards the image is not well defined and you cannot understand which card you are playing with.

You win more with this game than with some others I've played. There are lots of board and card choices. You can set up how the game plays. The graphics are great. The sound is good also. I find it great to play.
Cons
I would like the autoplay feature to work better. It is good on some games but does not work well on this one actually there is no autoplay for this game. It is turned off.
Summary
Overall I like this game and play it all the time. It is a good game to play and the graphics are great and the boards are good. I would reccomend this to my friends. I enjoy it and find it relaxing to play.
Best of all solitaire games I've tried-and buyed!

This game has it all, so much so that I ended up buying it-which I NEVER do. There are tabs for teaching you how to play the game,, many configurable options. I have tried many others, and been disappointed-your search will be over!
Cons
Would like the ability to make my own cards-unsure if possible? Appears so, but instructions are lacking. Have not fully researched this, and there are quite a few backs and fronts to choose from already.
Summary
With easy to understand rules, display, and autoplay, if chosen, I have been able to learn more solitaire games than I thought I wanted to learn. The look and feel is exactly what I wanted. My search is over! Well worth the $20 for the full version. Very much recommended.
