  It's absolutely free!!

  Cons

  Both operational and image-rendering aspects earn a big FAIL! It requires repeated tries to get a useful image on most documents, with errors and hangups punctuating the activity. The term "crapware" was created exactly for junk like this. I can't believe that those who are awarding it high marks are being objective.

  100% Free, no upselling. PDF Documents have no watermarks. Scans from Flatbed or Feeder. Allows you to re-order & delete pages. According to Malwarebytes, this is 100% safe. No Malware.

  No cons that I can find.

  Summary

  I'm guessing the newer version of this software has been greatly improved. All of the previous reviews talk about offers for other software, I got none of that during install. My browsers (Chrome, IE, Opera & Firefox) haven't been altered in any way. The software is super simple to use and does just what it says.

  I recommend the Free Scan to PDF tool to all users. It is one of the best tools with efficiency and speed. It is relatively easy to use too. It completes the conversion task before you even know it.

  It has no malware and it is a clean and simple software.

• Changes Browser settings, includes add on software

  There are none.

  Cons

  Although I declined the offered software this still changed my browser settings on all installed browsers and installed chromium and replaced the shortcuts pointing to chrome with links to chromium.

  Not worth the time it takes to clean up and correct the setting changes made during the product install.
