Calculate monthly home loan payments with a variety of options.
The Free Home Loan Calculator software is quite informative software for people who want to take a home loan. It tells various things about the repayment of the loan, like the EMI to be paid monthly or bi-weekly, the total interest to be paid, the PMI amount, and the pay off date. To get the results, one has to put in certain fact and figures about the loan that he or she intends to take from a lender. These include, home value, credit profile, loan amount, loan purpose, interest rate, loan term, start date, property tax, and PMI (Private Mortgage Interest). The results are displayed on the right hand side of your screen based on the figures that is fed on the right hand side, i.e. the "Mortgage parameters" section. The results include the amount that has to be repaid each month, total interest to be paid, total tax paid and the PMI. Also displayed are the total repayment made (Principal plus Interest), pay off date, total PMI paid, and the PMI pay off date. At the bottom of the "Mortgage Repayment Summary" section, there is a comparison between monthly and bi-weekly payment. The difference between the various amounts in monthly and bi-weekly payments can be seen here. This section also shows the total savings that can be made by doing bi-weekly payments. At the bottom of the screen there is also a pie-chart which shows the quantum of principal (in blue) versus the interest (in orange). Home Loan Calculator is a good software for persons who intending to obtain a home loan because it gives a lot of information about repayment of the home loan.
