  Installed only Malware and no avi to mp3 program whatsoever. It installed Youtube accelerator as the main program and then 8 other programs installed with it like PC Cleaner Pro, Reg Clean Pro etc.

  Summary

  It made me lose my trust with CNET. I always tried to go through CNET's download pages b/c I thought these were tested for safety, but obviously they are not.

  Pros

  Free AVI to MP3 Converter appears to work as expected.

  Cons

  Installed this other stuff: Amazon-related program (Amazon1ButtonApp-1.0.4-final_20131219.msi), Smartbar, Linkury monetization software (lptinstaller.msi), LPT System Updater Service, Shopop (adware), Systweak Support Dock, and probably others. One of these programs installed a browser add-on such that, when I clicked in this box to type text, it launched a new tab insisting that I download something called Mixx - The Virtual DJ. I closed that, came back to this form, typed inside the box, and it launched another tab. This time, the program wasn't even named. It just says, "Browser Installation (Recommended)." I closed that tab, went back to this form, clicked in the text field again, and another tab was launched. this time, I was taken to http://updatenowpro.com/ and it tried to automatically download a program called "updater.exe." This will apparently keep happening indefinitely.

  Summary

  The program seems to work fine, but automatically installs a lot of crap on your computer that you may never get rid of. Worth it? Not to me.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Apr 10, 2014<p/>I meant to title my review "Automatically Installs Malware."
