We did it! Now you have another way to find a lost hearing aid.

With this version of Find My Hearing Aids you can find your

lost hearing aid using SOUND:)

Yet, this is no simple app by any means! The app is packed with

sound frequency manipulation features. All hearing aid users tend to

have different weaknesses in certain frequencies. Thus, when we

started building the app we knew that there must be some way for

our users to adjust and play around with frequencies while playing the

alert sound.

Whats inside?

EQUALIZER

-4 Band equalizer

-Adjust Low and High Frequencies while searching for your hearing aid

LOW PASS FILTER

-With the low pass filter you can turn it up and down to block high frequencies

from coming in and out. It can make your hearing aid sound like a robot from

outer space.

There is a tutorial in the app should you need to refer to it for assistance.

HOW DOES THE APP WORK?

The way the app works is quite simple yet there is a lot going on under the hood.

After downloading and opening the app:

1. Make sure your hearing aid is connected in iOS (Settings => Bluetooth). If your hearing aid is not connected the alert sound will simply play on your iPhone speakers. Trust me, this is not ideal!

2. Push the play button to play the ALERT SOUND.

3. While trying to remember where you lost your hearing aid, go to these areas.

4. Adjust and play around with the EQUALIZER and LOW PASS FILTER and listen for the strange noises going on.

For some reason, if you still cannot hear any sound, it is advisable to ask for help from a friend or family member. A pet dog or cat could also find the hearing aid while using the app pretty easily (Depending on the pet ha! They all have their own personalities dont they!?)

NOTES: This app works best if you lost your hearing aid somewhere that you are familiar with such as in your house, at work, in the car, under the sofa, etc. etc. If you think you lost your hearing aid way across town etc., do not download this app! It is not a location based app.
