A great antivirus software

Pros
Cheap and effective. A very light software and can utilise CPU during scan. Can remove malware before execution.
Cons
Full scan is slow.

Very light, faster and efficient ! If you need a real antivirus, this is the one ! This is the best antivirus I've tested !

Pros
Excellent to consider when doing the spring cleaning; try quarantine.
Cons
The program needs to up to date rather than updating after installing. When removing nasty viruses, deleting is to be avoided. Computers had crashed before beyond recovery -- unless you have BartPE recovery cd.

This twister has lots of useful features. I use the tools for managing my xp os.

Pros
It just works so darn well. It found 15 infections that anti-Malwarebytes and even Spyware Doctor failed to find ( spyware doctor is still better than Anti-malwarebytes). It has a free 90 day trial. 30 bucks for a lifetime updates. Can't beat it.
Cons
It's so unheard of. Seems that eveyone talks about the big name vendors. It also doesn't seem to support external drives. The only drawback I can see.

I'll take it over any big name vendor such as Norton, Kaspersky, Avast. etc. Can't beat the detection ability and the cost.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Sep 5, 2010<p/>Earlier I said it didn't seem to support external drives. It does. If you go to My Computer and find the drive letter, just right-click on it and find Twister Antivirus and just scan it. Unfortunately one can't just go to scan in the program and find the drive letter and check it like the other main drives and scan it.

I have used some other antivirus software, Twister is the most efficient and valuable anti-virus software.

I've been building systems since 1988 and I've NEVER seen anything like this. TOXIC If I didn't have the I.T. skills I do, I would have lost everything. As it is, I have been working for over 70 HOURS to get my system back. I have OVER 300 gigs of files scattered all over my Terabyte of drives. This thing is POISON. It's MALWARE at it's best. The people that have given it high marks are the HACKERS that made it. They are happy to see the TROUBLE it has caused people. I'm not posting this to make give them pleasure; I'm posting it to save you TONS OF GRIEF. If you don't believe me, use it and you'll find out for yourself that it's just as I have WARNED you. The folks that gave it high ratings are your ENEMIES, not your friends. Don't give them the satisfaction of becoming their next VICTIM. WARNING!!! It is full of malicious code and yet, Avast, AVG, nor any of my malware protection and security programs caught it. As soon as it installed, my system said, "Boot system violation, system is shutting down. I had NO TIME to do anything but watch my system DIE right in front of my eyes and I AM AN I.T. PROFESSIONAL. I do this for a living and have been for nearly 2 decades. I am a master at my craft and my son runs his own I.T. biz right here in Concord, CA. If you even think about running this GARBAGE on your computer, you'll regret it forever. You will have to spend a fortune to have a professional, like myself to try to recover your system. Now, if you don't care about your computer and just want to see it crash, perhaps beyond repair, GO AHEAD.. MAKE THEIR DAY. Download.com should PULL THIS RIGHT NOW and if they don't, my opinion of Cnet will be reduced FOREVER. They need to check into this but remember, they ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE TO YOU OR ANYBODY. It's in their EULA so you won't be able to get a judgement or cost remedy. YOU'LL BE ON YOUR OWN. Cash lost, productivity lost, emotional stress and duress LOST..all LOST. If I hadn't had my business on this machine, I would have simply formatted the drive and reinstalled but I couldn't afford to format. I have tons of "money codes" on it so I MUST salvage it. I can, too but it's been more pain than I can imagine. Well, again, you've been WARNED to the max. It's up to you now. Check out the broken English in many of the positive reviews. They say that terrorists can use computer technology to bring the U.S. to it's knees; well, if this gets around enough.. Perhaps they are testing it via free download sites. If you think that's a bunch of hype, download it and run it; you'll see just what I'm talking about, I assure you. God help you. If you're not convinced now, you'll have to find out the HARD WAY like I did. READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON SOFTWARE..ALWAYS!!! I knew I had a virus, but every antivirus I tried couldn't find any. Until Twister. I downloaded the trial and it found and cleaned 4 trojans! Easy to use and pretty fast scan.
