Field Guide to Tasmanian Fauna for Android

Explore Tasmanias unique and diverse wildlife at home or in the great outdoors with the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallerys Field Guide app. Available for both Apple and Android devices, the app combines detailed animal descriptions with stunning imagery and, for some species, sounds to provide a valuable reference that can be used in urban, bush and coastal environments. The app holds descriptions of over 700 species, from animals found in rockpools and minibeasts in your garden, to birds, mammals, lizards and snakes that you might see in the bush. Weve put in a lot of species, but its still a fraction of the complete fauna of Tasmania. Our scientists will continue to add additional species and refine descriptions over time.
