Felt is a warm, soft, tactile fabric. It can be shaped, steamed and easily manipulated to form all sorts of angles and dimensions. It can be thick and insulating as in a warm winter coat, or it can be light and fluid as in a summer Nuno garment.Traditional felt has no internal structure. It is not woven or knitted, but is simply a collection of fibres, such as wool, alpaca, rabbit etc, that with the addition of heat, agitation and often water and soap, shrinks to form an interlocked fabric structure. Nuno felt occurs when wool is worked together with cloth, usually of an open-weave structure, such as muslin, cheesecloth, gauze or light silk. Nuno is often used to laminate or capture objects between layers. Nuno is sometimes referred to as laminated felt. Felt magazine examines traditional felt, Nuno felt, embellishing techniques, dry felting (needle felting and machine punching) and knitted (fulled) felt with a comprehensive mix of articles, projects, profiles and visual inspiration. When a recurring subscription is purchased the latest issue will become available to download immediatelySubscriptions are also available within the application. A subscription will start from the next released issue. Available subscriptions are: 12 months: AUS $12.99/6.99/ US$9.99 (2 issues)-The subscription will renew automatically unless cancelled more than 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, for the same duration and at the current subscription rate for the product.-You may turn off the auto-renewal of subscriptions through your Account Settings, however you are not able to cancel the current subscription during its active period. -Payment will charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when a subscription to that publication is purchased.Bundles of single issues can be also be bought within the application.
