FDL Inventory Sync is a Microsoft Access based software program for the organization and reporting of your company's hardware and software assets. Powerful features, yet extreme ease of use allow flexibility for small and large organizations alike. Computer hardware is tracked to record who owns it, what location it is located at, what other equipment relates to it, and what software packages are installed. Separately purchased software licenses can be recorded individually, as well as CD-Key's and serial numbers.

Visual tools and reports provide immediate license counts and compliancy information. Multi-database synchronization capabilities provide for a distributed network of FDL Inventory databases to be installed. FDL Inventory Sync includes 30 parameter driven reports which provide comprehensive reporting capabilities for all areas of the system. Version 3.0 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Easy to understand and navigate

I like this software very much. I read the negative reviews on this site and don't understand why those were posted... possibly because of an earlier version? What I do know is this current version works great! It doesn't seem to have any problems and tracks our computers and printers, and our software licenses very clearly and easily. I'm so happy because we are now organized. Just thought I'd write a positive review for this software because it deserves it.

I found it easy to navigate, with a ton of useful features. The learning curve is quick because the interface is so straight forward. Good reporting features as well. I also really liked that it is built in Microsoft Access, which allowed me to create custom reports against the database easily. A++
Cons
Would be great if it included software tracking also, but I guess their web site says that's coming in a future version, so we will see.

I have never had the displeasure of using such a useless piece of software. Even at the price = Free it was not worth my time to install and then later delete. I only hope CNET deletes it from there database so others don't have to deal with it like i did!

The database was very easy to understand and manuever around in. Easily customizable reports and the company will even perform customized programming if there is something you need to add.
