Ezimerchant Professional is designed to help build Web sites where users can sell their products. While it offers an impressive selection of tools, the program is complicated and frustrating to use and requires Web design skills.

The program's interface deceived us after our first impression. Although Ezimerchant has a professional-looking layout, we needed to revisit the Help file constantly. We were able to quickly build the skeleton of a Web site featuring a Home page, an About page, and more. While we were able to customize text, images, and the design template, we were disappointed by the results, which looked shoddy and obviously showed that we had no Web design skills. We were completely confused when we moved on to building up our store. While we were able to populate our inventory with ease, we couldn't uncover how to create a page where visitors can purchase the products and check out. We constantly felt this program was designed for those with previous Web-building experience and not for novices. It provides some interesting features, such as the ability to apply promotions and gift vouchers, but we can't see the point since we couldn't successfully build an e-commerce site where customers could use them. Newcomers should stay far away from this program, but experienced designers may have better luck with it.

Ezimerchant Professional is limited to a 30-day trial period. Although it has a professional layout, this program is not for everyone, and we do not recommend it.

new version awesome - best integration of any platform

Integration, integration, integration! eBay listing tool is plain genius - finally there is a way to list and manage listings efficiently. Shipping integration and Xero integration are icing on cake. I also got mobile site optimisation for free.
Cons
I was put off because Ezimerchant isn't well known. Which is a shame given the quality of offering. Also, help files could probably be better. Pricing could be a bit simpler but I do like that I don't pay unless I sell.
Summary
There weren't many reviews for Ezimerchant available and most were from some years ago. After doing my homework for Australian based ecommerce platform providers, I am really pleased with Ezimerchant. For anyone wondering, all I can say is, my guess is all the negative comments are for old versions - the latest version is great. Happy selling!

Its a scam. Where does it mention in the description that on top of the $295 to purchase a license, you also have to pay a recurring monthly charge? Also, the 14 day trial... that's BS too. Its only 7 days and you can't even do anything until you get a license from them

This is by far the most easiest to use shopping cart system available today. I have over 1000 products & i was able to import all of them from my excel sheet in a matter of seconds. ezimerchant then built the whole website for me at a press of a button.It has a huge range of themes to choose from to customise the apperance. I now have an ecommerce enablled website making me money while im kicking back & watching the orders roll in.

ezimerchant is the best shopping cart software out there. I have used serveral of the leading brands of shopping cart solutions & none come close to ezimerchant. I had my website built & uploaded within the first day i bought the software & received my first order. This software also provides the secure 128-Bit SSL security for my website at the cheapest rate around. I would recommend this software to anyone!!!
